Designblok Cosmos: The Intergalactic Beauty of Czech Design
Designblok Cosmos, born from the Prague International Design Festival Designblok, makes its global debut at Milan Design Week. Curated by festival directors Jana Zielinski and Jiří Macek, the exhibition highlights ten leading contemporary Czech designers.
The mobile capsule, a 65 m² marvel on a six-wheeler designed by acclaimed designer Jan Plecháč, provides an immersive audiovisual experience, symbolizing Designblok’s 25-year commitment to Czech design. The glass works explore luminescence, craftsmanship, and diverse production technologies, celebrating Czech traditions. With an innovative presentation, Designblok Cosmos unveils the crème de la crème of Czech design on an international stage.
