ABLE SPACE DESIGN COMPETITION

The exhibition showcases architectural model proposals from three different generations, ranging from elementary school students to university students and professionals. This project explores what will be inherited and what will change in the future, reflecting on the evolutions of architectural practice.

Additionally, the exhibition includes a design competition for living spaces, themed “Conversing with Walls,” providing participants the opportunity to showcase their creations in a full-scale exhibition. Lastly, works by three of Japan’s leading architects, Toyo Ito, Kazuyo Sejima and Sosuke Fujimoto, are featured, presenting their most significant works and sharing their experience with the audience. On the other hand, Toyo Ito’s Children’s Architecture School aims to raise awareness among youth about architecture and the city, fostering the development of their individuality and creativity in thinking and expression.
