“Tenebra Caduta”
The designer Pietro Travaglini returns to the Superstudio after the great success of his debut the last year. In a staging mash-up of ancestral myths and Tim Burton’s style atmospheres, he launches the new collection AMADRIADI: timeless lamps that combine organic inspiration with minimalist abstraction in a contemporary homage to Nature. Inside the stand, in a dark ambient, lamps are the protagonist. They create and ligth up the mythological scenes which narrate the story of the Amadriades in a “mechanical little theatre” where the references to the “automates” of the nineteenth century matches with video images to complete the landscape.The exhibition at Superstudio, by Quelquechose for the project and the communication, has been realized in collaboration with the art director Paolo Bazzani and the video conception and production of Marco Pozzi.
