Poltrona Frau on show at  SUPERHOTEL:

The Ren furnishing accessory collection is the result of studies of the home entryway by Neri & Hu. This collection showcases the nature of the domestic throughway, with a series of objects that are hybrid in their function and materials and it comprises of free-standing mirror coat rack, small table, console table, wall-mounted mirror coat rack and valet stand. Each product of the collection is in wood, brass and leather and are refined in the manufacture and shape, welcoming the guests with the undistinguishable elegance of Poltrona Frau. For each side of these accessories, Neri & Hu has copied the shape of the Chinese ideogram “ren”, which means “person, human being”. Table bed is elegant and practical. Highly desirable blends of wood, leather and steel. Beautiful simplicity inspired by a Kennedy-style international way of life. The structure of the tables with the top upholstered in Pelle Frau Color System leather or finished in a Canaletto walnut veneer is made of birch plywood. The upper part of the leg features the same finishing of the top. Designed in 1965, the Dezza is a comfortable, light-weight and adaptable armchair, that has accurately been reproduced in a refined re-edition that enhances its formal beauty and stylistic uniqueness. The feet are available in ash-wood painted white or black with open-pore paint. The upholstery is available in Pelle Frau leather from the Color System range, Heritage leather, Soul leather “Pony Skin” or a combination of leather and non-removable fabric. The number 12 armchair boasts slender armrests, which make it possible to place two or more armchairs close together. Armchair number 48 is fitted with a goose-down headrest that is incorporated into the backrest. The Ginger Chair is refined and simple easy chair. Neat, essential, and comfortable. A soft leather shell, comfortable and protective, enhanced by visible topstitching that runs along whole of the outside edge, creating an elegant decorative effect. The Ming’s Heart project goes straight to the core of two worlds, two visions, two philosophies of life and living, East and West. The historic Ming chair is the reference model for this piece by Shi-Chieh Lu. The purity of its lines, the perfect expression of Chinese and Oriental spirituality, reverberates in the geometric and cubic formality of the Western vision. Shi-Chieh Lu pares down surfaces until he achieves a continuous line. Armrests, seat and back become the lightest of fluid, graphic shapes. The profile is made from tubular steel. Weight and gravity are no longer determined by the lower part of the structure, but by the top from which the seat hangs. The shell is a continuous surface, a sort of triangle made from thin steel sheet, completely covered in saddle-leather. Designed by Roberto Lazzeroni, who reconciles its large forms with a soft and rounded design, Mamy Blue is half-bed, half-sculpture, expertly shaped and processed by the Poltrona Frau craftsmen. A bed designed to take centre stage in the room where its headboard stands out, inspired, in terms of the curved lines that envelop the sleeping surface, by the Lazzeroni armchair from which it takes its name.
