The latest series of portraits imagined by Flavio Lucchini, in color and black and white, gives a taste of the mix of art, fashion and creativity of his production. Exhibited together with two artists’ armchairs by Studio Nava+Arosio.
“Previews. My Memories” is a series of one hundred…non-portraits, of faces, in which color, but also the graphic clarity of black and white, intentionally replaces the detailed definition of the faces. Together with the “Memories” are exhibited two artist armchairs designed by Studio Nava+Arosio for Rubelli Casa and part of the “Vision 47” project.
The location of the exhibition is the FLA (Superstudio Più), museum and atelier, where for over thirty years the artist has given shape, life and body to his mysterious and multifaceted vision of femininity and fashion.
In the artist’s words “… they are ordinary women who passed by me, colleagues, models, editors, creatives, friends… whose physical features I don’t want to remember, but the colors, the perfume, the essence. A few brushstrokes, which stimulate the memory of contemporary faces running towards the future, but also of many works of art that I loved”.
