BluE, The Underwater Experience
Renewable energy and the fossil fuel crisis portend an increasingly blue-e future. Rossinavi, a major shipyard in Viareggio, presents the installation “BluE, The Underwater Experience” which invites people to enter a large experiential “box” that simulates underwater life and makes them discover the important role of phytoplankton in our existence.
Rossinavi has recently launched Sea Cat 40, a brand-new catamaran concept inspired by the marine environment: fully electric thanks to photovoltaic panels generating 0 emissions 90% of the time, it is a sustainable option. Also, it pays careful attention to the journey itself, with passengers enjoying the ocean sounds in a comfortable environment. During the day, the new collection absorbs solar energy, transforming it into energy suitable for sailing. This is a trick offered by nature, primarily phytoplankton photosynthesis, which, by night, when it releases the energy accumulated during the day, generates amazing light effects.
