SSYS 2Y22 collection by Stratasys Creative Director Naomi Kaempfer, reflects on the last two years of the pandemic, focusing on 3 main pillars. Fashion innovation: merging the gap between personal space and the public domain which is reflected in product, identity and fashion design. Social inclusion: the collection will highlight the growing sensitivity towards community building, social inclusion and equality, gender, heritage, ethnicity, emotion and nationality. We focus on the importance of concious relating, socializing and bridging on a humanitarian level. Sustainability: the collection will include topics of mindful manufacturing for longevity (no season, no fast fashion, no fast product), the respect for the planet and ecology.

New production scenarios and an endless range of creative solutions have been unveiled during Milan Design Week. Israeli company Stratasys presents the “Ssys 2y22 Reflection” collection, made with Stratasys J850™ TechStyle™, the company's newest PolyJet printer that is also the industry's first 3D printer designed specifically for direct printing on fabric, simulating different textures and finishes. This solution opens up unlimited possibilities for stylists and designers in the customization and personalization of 3D printed fabrics due to the versatility of a product suitable for creating high-end apparel as well as bags, accessories and footwear. The collection consists of pieces created by leading names in fashion and design such as Karim Rashid, Jasna Rok, Foraeva and Travis Fitch. And this seems to be just the beginning of a technological journey of experimentation and innovation that has only scratched the surface of what is possible.
