RE-MAKE, RE-MODEL, RE-IMAGINE
Designed and handmade by Paul Kelley, RE-MAKE, RE-MODEL, RE-IMAGINE is an installation of 350 multi-functional magnetic cubes, reworked using the latest range of colors and finishes by Abet Laminati, a company originally supplier of the Memphis group, some of which were created by the Milanese designer Arthur Arbesser. Paul Kelley is a globally recognized artist, and the series of cubes has become his best-selling design, exhibited at the Venice Biennale in 2016 and 2017.
Characterized by a sculptural style, clean lines, and right angles, the magnetic cubes invite visitors to play with modularity, textures, and colors, literally constructing chairs, tables, storage units, event steps from the single elements, in a potentially infinite series of combinations, with the only limit of the imagination.
These are creations that are halfway between art and design, functional and versatile, with a recognizable and unique aesthetic.
