The exhibited lamps were designed by the father of Michele, Antonio, in 1997 and 1999. Today, I am they are accompanying the designer on this journey, in a more contemporary form.
In the wall lamp, light flows through the metal tunnel, gently filtering through its openings. In the floor lamp, the conical diffuser delicately settles into the circular insert, supported by three slender legs, evoking the shape of a wrapped cone, or ‘cartoccio’. In both, openings of varying sizes cast a vibrant interplay of light across the room, like dancing stars. The collection is completed by a coffee table and a chair.
Each piece is thoughtfully designed and crafted in San Giovanni Rotondo, Italy, with deep respect for materials, places, and people.
