Stars of Today

I AM

The next-generation design is expressed through the imagination of 10 talented designers in the section Stars of Today, curated by Giulio Cappellini.

From black and white with simple and contemporary lines by Leonardo Talarico for Trussardi Casa and Cappellini to Miya, a rounded table with flamboyant curves in blown glass and Spire, the spiral washbasin, designed by Elena Salmistraro for Cappellini. Alongside them, there is the impressive Colomychus Chernobilis carpet, which Francesca Lanzavecchia has created in collaboration with Nodus brand reproducing a moth found in the Red Forest in Ukraine so realistically that it seems to be about to take flight, and the imaginative works of Matteo Agati, the expressive furnishings of Dovain Studio directed by the Spanish designer Sergio Prieto, which combine art, decorative aesthetics in a design object by giving emotion. And again, Daniel Nikolovski’s Sacred Wellbeing, a collection that explores the ritual side of being together, the 3D printed Trace vases by Francesco Forcellini, the interplays of light typical of the design of Antonio Facco, the refractions and colors of his Luce tables in extra glass prism-effect colored light and the minimal Arya lamps, in opaque, paste-colored and mouth-blown molded glass. Finally, Keiji Takeuchi and his minimal furnishings, which he calls postcards, as if they came from his world, alongside the outdoor collection by Ilaria Marelli, who finds, once again, her inspiration in nature.
