Happiness One-fab objects “f(x) = ? ”

Onefabrica utilizes innovative and sustainable technology to craft structures from aluminum pipes and fabric. Reusable and environmentally friendly, its lightweight and adaptable properties make it an ideal medium for exhibition and fixture design.

In response to this year’s “Happiness” theme, we harness Onefabrica’s strengths—pipe bending, sewing techniques, and vivid printing—to create an installation that explores the nature of joy.

Happiness is fleeting, unpredictable, and layered. This installation embraces the chaotic essence of joy through the dynamic movement of a double pendulum, transformed by light, fabric, and color. Each section offers a unique sensory experience, inviting visitors to reflect on how happiness reveals itself in unexpected ways.

By bridging chaos theory and artistic expression, this work embodies the idea that joy exists in both the logical and the emotional, the structured and the freeform. The ever-changing motion of the double pendulum captures the harmony within disorder, mirroring how profound joy often arises from life’s most unpredictable moments.
