In The Yellow Room, FoodDesignStories and LAPILLI present, for MDW2025, The Construction Site of Happiness.

In line with “Happiness” by Superstudio, FDS has searched among designers and artists seeking an answer to something simple yet complex: what is your object of happiness?
TheYellowRoom will be a Platonic symposium. A place of ideas, dreams, and things where LAPILLl’s material will coexist with the eclectic collective, in a poetic setting designed by architect Sandra Faggiano, visionary art director of the concept.

The space will feature a promenade through areas: from the construction site of happiness, to the surreal garden of happiness, to the material library where you can “touch” happiness.
The material library, by Lapilli, a leading company in the production of lava stone coverings, plays here on the synergistic thread of material and partnership, presenting new surface innovations where artisanal vision and technology merge, giving life to a sustainable and pioneering future.

From covering to furnishing, from design to art to fashion, here “things” will dialogue with other “things”.
