ISIA Firenze for Mirabili Design
Design Fiction
The students of ISIA Firenze under the concept by prof. Mirko Tattarini present a series of open furnishings, which challenge the short life-cycle of objects with the aim of rewriting the history of design from a long-term perspective. The result is Design Fiction, a project combined with a repertoire by the students of the two-year Master’s course in Strategic Design based on Mirabili Design products.
In the center, a hybrid carpet with 15 hacked armchairs, i.e. interpreted differently from what was foreseen in the first steps of their design, expanded in the horizon of use and in the temporal perspectives of their existence, around which a dialogue unites 15 disappeared personalities gathered for an ideal meeting of the third millennium.
The installation is supported by contents created through artificial intelligence systems and made available in augmented reality and other interactive methods.
